    When the song ends, END IT. Watch for the cutoff.

    Smile when you sing!
    Short syllables add punch. Long syllables add smoothness.
    Practise your music - any time, anywhere!
    Turn your pages early.
    Stay home when you’re sick.
    Count the rests - all of them!
    Keep hydrated. Room-temperature water is best.
    Watch your director.
    Silence your phone!
    Sing with confidence, not just volume.
    Not too loud, not too soft! Blend with the choir.
    Keep your music in order.
    Learn some music terms.
    Check your posture - face forward, not straining up or down.
    Follow your director.
    Eat healthy. Not too much, not too little.
    Learn your range and your change.
    Arrive early to a show.
    Engage your audience.

Lighting of Leigh Square

The annual lighting of Leigh Square festivities. Several performers are scheduled. Silver Chord Choir sings many familiar favourites – do come along and sing along with us!
