Smile when you sing!
Open your mouth to sing!
Turn your pages early.
Sing with confidence, not just volume.
Arrive early to a show.
Learn your range and your change.
When the song ends, END IT. Watch for the cutoff.
Stay home when you’re sick.
Check your posture - face forward, not straining up or down.
Not too loud, not too soft! Blend with the choir.
Short syllables add punch. Long syllables add smoothness.
Keep hydrated. Room-temperature water is best.
Silence your phone!
Eat healthy. Not too much, not too little.
Follow your director.
Practise your music - any time, anywhere!
Engage your audience.
Read the Tips for Singers pages - lots of good info there!
Watch your director.
Listen to your neighbours, not just yourself.
Learn some music terms.
Count the rests - all of them!
Keep your music in order.

Wesbrooke Concert with Silver Chord

Silver Chord will be bringing our new spring repertoire to The Wesbrooke. Come hear our fresh new tunes and sing along! We’re welcoming the Wesbrooke Singalong group who will join us from the front row of the audience.
