• Turn your pages early.

    Keep hydrated. Room-temperature water is best.

    Learn some music terms.
    Sing with confidence, not just volume.

    Follow your director.
    When the song ends, END IT. Watch for the cutoff.
    Learn your range and your change.
    Keep your music in order.
    Practise your music - any time, anywhere!
    Listen to your neighbours, not just yourself.
    Smile when you sing!
    Short syllables add punch. Long syllables add smoothness.
    Stay home when you’re sick.
    Eat healthy. Not too much, not too little.
    Arrive early to a show.
    Open your mouth to sing!

Friendship picnic for Pauline Webb

Sunday 24 April, 2022 @ 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm – A celebration of the friendship of Pauline Webb. Friends, family and the Silver Chord Choir are gathering in Lions Park in Port Coquitlam for food, beverage, fellowship and music. We’ll gather at the picnic shelter in the park. The Silver Chord Choir has been invited to sing a few of Pauline’s favourite songs.

Meeting of the Melodies

Sunday 5 June, 2022 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm – A biannual gathering of several community choirs in the Tri-Cities area. Each choir performs their selections, then all gather together for a mass grand finale number! Come and hear the Silver Chord Choir perform some of their favourite selections!
