- Compliment three people everyday.Sing in a choir.Say "please" a lot.Look people in the eye.Watch a sunrise at least once a year.Rekindle old friendships.Never underestimate the power of love.Don't expect life to be fair.Count your blessings.Feed a stranger's expired parking meter.Leave everything a little better than you found it.Keep your promises (no matter what).Sing in the shower.Over tip breakfast waitresses.Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them.Say "thank-you" a lot.Dance like no-one is watching. Sing like no-one is listening. Love like you've never been hurt.Stop blaming others.Leave the toilet seat in the down position.Keep secrets.Keep it simple.Never refuse homemade brownies.Learn three clean jokes.Don't be afraid to say "I made a mistake."Always accept an outstretched hand.Wear polished shoes.Call your mother.Remember other people's birthdays.Buy whatever kids are selling on card tables in their front yards.Plant a tree on your birthday.Have a dog.Return all things you borrow.Send lots of Valentines Day cards and sign them "Someone who thinks you're terrific."be there when people need you.Marry only for love.Plant flowers every spring.Carry jumper cables in your trunk.Strive for excellence, not for perfection.Wave at kids on school buses.Be forgiving of yourself and others.Have a firm handshake.Be the first to say hello.Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures.Live your life as an exclamation, not an explanation.Floss your teeth.Avoid negative people.Don't be afraid to say "I don't know."Ask for a raise when you feel you've earned it.Take responsibility for every area of your life.Use the good silver.Treat everyone you meet like you want to be treated.Commit yourself to constant improvement.Become the most positive and enthusiastic person you know.Return borrowed vehicles with the gas tank filled.Drink champagne for no reason at all.Compliment even small improvements.Make new friends but cherish the old ones.
