- Never underestimate the power of love.Remember other people's birthdays.Look people in the eye.Plant flowers every spring.Don't be afraid to say "I don't know."Commit yourself to constant improvement.Return all things you borrow.Strive for excellence, not for perfection.Rekindle old friendships.Sing in the shower.Live your life as an exclamation, not an explanation.Be the first to say hello.Compliment three people everyday.Keep your promises (no matter what).Sing in a choir.Say "please" a lot.Feed a stranger's expired parking meter.Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures.Keep secrets.Ask for a raise when you feel you've earned it.Have a firm handshake.Watch a sunrise at least once a year.Wear polished shoes.Keep it simple.Leave the toilet seat in the down position.Compliment even small improvements.Use the good silver.Stop blaming others.Buy whatever kids are selling on card tables in their front yards.Wave at kids on school buses.Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them.Have a dog.Take responsibility for every area of your life.Learn three clean jokes.be there when people need you.Carry jumper cables in your trunk.Dance like no-one is watching. Sing like no-one is listening.
